NEW ORLEANS - The City of New Orleans, in partnership with Social Bicycles, Inc. (SoBi), will be hosting the second of its community workshop meetings tomorrow, March 29, in preparation for the launch of bike share in Fall 2017.
The City is hosting six neighborhood-specific community workshops seeking feedback on where to establish 70 bike stations with 700 bicycles as part of the upcoming program.
The workshops will begin with a brief presentation on bike share followed by roundtable discussions of proposed locations. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in the roundtable discussions to review site locations through identifying well-suited and preferred sites, potential sites not already listed on the map, and sites that may present technical issues. Check here regularly for bike share updates and how to participate.
